Gretchen Kanne Scholarship

The Gretchen Kanne Scholarship was established by Gretchen Kanne, Emeritus Professor of Theatre to recognize and honor students who demonstrate outstanding acting ability.



Full Description

The scholarship offers a $1,000 (to 1 student) amount, to help you with your studies.

Who's eligible?

  • This scholarship is open to continuing senior or graduate acting major students who are pursuing an undergraduate or a graduate degree.
  • Full-time Enrollment at CSUF
  • Good academic standing 3.0 minimum GPA
  • Acting major


How to Apply

Log into your CSUF portal and click on the “Scholarships” app on the lefthand side. Follow the onscreen instructions and complete the CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY -FULLERTON SCHOLARSHIP & AWARD APPLICATION Academic Year 2023- 2024.

Write an essay or personal statement of achievement.

Optional: Provide one letter of recommendation from someone who can speak to your creative achievement or academic potential.
