The Eryck Todd Heck Scholarship

The Eryck Todd Heck Memorial Scholarship is awarded to an undergraduate student majoring in criminal justice and criminology. The scholarship honors Eryck Todd Heck, the first Allen County, Indiana, sheriff’s department officer killed in the line of duty. Heck, a five-year veteran of the department, was killed Aug. 15, 1997, by a burglary suspect.

Who's eligible?

  • major in criminal justice and criminology
  • 3.0 GPA or better
  • preference given to Allen County residents
