The Washington Society of Professional Engineers Educational Foundation is a non-profit educational foundation establishes in 1982 to further the support of engineering education.
The Scholarship Committee of the WSPE Educational Foundation will evaluate each application using the following criteria to select scholarship recipients:
Scholarship money will be sent to the institution where the student has been admitted for use by the student.
Community college students interested in applying should know that the deadline for submitting an application is May 1st and those selected to receive a scholarship will be notified by June 15th.
The Washington Society of Professional Engineers (WSPE) Educational Foundation offers $3,000 scholarships to students enrolled in Washington Community Colleges who transfer to ABET-accredited baccalaureate engineering programs offered by universities and colleges in Washington State.
There is a chance for those students who are still not admitted to a baccalaureate program to apply as well, but scholarship funds will be disbursed once the student accepts an offer of admission.
So as to be considered eligible for this award, the applicant must be a second-year community college student and have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.

Besides the Applicant’s Name, Email and Address which must be provided in the application form, you will be asked to speak about your work experience and list your part-time and summer employment as well as your membership in any engineering-related activities and your years of participation.
