The Palm Beach Kennel Club Scholarship Fund, administered by Scholarship America for the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties, expects about four $2,165 undergraduate awards for Florida residents who are Kennel Club employees with one year of service or eligible family members. Applicants need at least a 2.0 GPA and may pursue certification, associate, or bachelor''s study. Complete the CFPBMC Employer Funds application on Scholarship America when the cycle opens; the 2026 window ran February 2 through March 4 at 5 p.m. EST.
Wayne Nelson KB4UT Memorial Scholarship 2027 - $1K
The Wayne Nelson, KB4UT, Memorial Scholarship is a one-time $1,000 ARRL Foundation award for US citizens with any active FCC amateur radio license, a 3.0 GPA, and enrollment in a technical field at an accredited four-year college or university. ARRL gives first preference to licensed hams in Central Florida counties (Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Lake, Volusia, Brevard, and Polk), then to applicants elsewhere in Florida if no suitable Central Florida candidate is found. You apply through the unified Kaleidoscope portal each winter. For the 2027 academic year, expect the portal to open in late October 2026 and close around February 1, 2027, with recipients notified in late spring and checks mailed to schools in July.
