The NYU CERA PhD Scholarship 2027 is funded doctoral study in the Climate, Energy and Risk Analytics Lab at NYU Tandon School of Engineering, led by Assistant Professor Yuki Miura. The lab's own recruitment notice promises full tuition coverage, a PhD stipend, health insurance and research and conference support. You start by filling in the CERA interest form, then apply formally to the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering PhD and name Yuki Miura as your intended advisor. Tandon reviews all PhD applications for Fall entry by 1 December, and the lab reads interest forms on a rolling basis, so early is better.

Harvard University MBA Scholarship 2027 - 75% of Tuition

The Harvard University MBA Scholarship is funded by the Boustany Foundation and granted once every two years to a single candidate joining Harvard Business School. It pays 75% of tuition fees and covers travel, accommodation and food for a compulsory two-month internship at the Foundation's office in Monaco. You can only apply once Harvard Business School has offered you a place, and the Foundation asks for a CV with a photograph, official GMAT scores and your acceptance letter. The next award goes to the class commencing Autumn 2027, with candidacies closing on 31 May 2027 and the winner named during June 2027.

NASA JPL Year-Round Internship 2027 - Paid STEM

The NASA JPL Year-Round Internship Program pays undergraduate and graduate STEM students to work on Lab at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory during the academic year and over the summer, with part-time and full-time terms offered all year. There is no single closing date. JPL accepts applications continuously, keeps each one active in its system for eight months, and lets mentors search that pool when they have a project to staff. Participants get a weekly monetary award, and full-time in-person interns whose university sits more than 50 miles from JPL also get a housing and travel allowance. The programme is open to U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents enrolled at accredited U.S. universities, with a 3.0 GPA minimum and 3.5 preferred, and your first term has to run 10 weeks or more.

NIAF Scholarship 2027 - $2,500 to $12,000 Awards

The NIAF Scholarship is the National Italian American Foundation's annual award programme for Italian American students at US colleges and universities. Individual awards run from $2,500 to $12,000, and the Foundation says it has put over $10,000,000 into scholarships since it was founded. One application matches you to every fund you qualify for, from business and STEM awards to funds for music, law, Italian studies and students from particular states. You need an active NIAF membership, a 3.5 GPA, US citizenship or permanent resident status, and full-time enrollment for Fall 2027. Harry S. Truman Scholarship 2027 - $30,000 Award

The Harry S. Truman Scholarship is the federal memorial to the thirty-third President and the best known graduate award in the USA for students headed into public service. Scholars receive up to $30,000 toward a graduate or professional degree, a required Leadership Week in Missouri, an optional summer in Washington DC, and a direct hiring authority with the federal government. You apply in your junior year, through your campus, and the Foundation picks one Scholar from each state plus up to 15 at-large Scholars. SMART Scholarship 2027 - Full Tuition, $30k-$46k

The SMART Scholarship is the Department of War Scholarship-for-Service Program for STEM students in the USA. It pays full tuition with no monetary cap, an annual stipend of $30,000 to $46,000 depending on degree level, a health insurance allowance up to $2,500 a year and a miscellaneous allowance up to $1,000 a year, then places you in a civilian job at the sponsoring facility that picked you. Every funded year carries one year of service in return. The cycle closing at 5 p.m. EST on 4 December 2026 funds study from Fall 2027, and it is open to citizens of the United States, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

East-West Center Fellowship 2027 - Study at UH Manoa

The East-West Center Graduate Degree Fellowship pays general graduate tuition and fees at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, gives you a single room in an East-West Center residence hall, and adds a stipend that partly covers food and incidental costs. The Center values the package at roughly $22,000 a year before tax, with extra aid possible where you can show financial need. Awards run for one academic year and can be renewed once, to a maximum of two years. Applications for the 2027 intake close on 1 December 2026 at 11:59 PM Hawaii Standard Time, and you have to apply to UH Manoa by that same date if you are not already enrolled there. University of Hawaii ADB Scholarship 2027 - Fully Funded

The University of Hawaii ADB Scholarship 2027 is the Asian Development Bank-Japan Scholarship Program run by the East-West Center for masters study at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. It pays full tuition and fees, roundtrip airfare to Honolulu, housing in an East-West Center residence hall, a monthly stipend, book funds, health insurance and J-1 visa sponsorship. The East-West Center runs this competition every other year, and the cycle for the Fall 2027 academic year opened on 18 August 2026 and closes on 1 December 2026 at 11:59 PM Hawaii Standard Time. Applicants must be citizens and current residents of one of the 40 ADB developing member countries, aged 35 or under, holding a four-year bachelors degree and at least two years of full-time professional work after that degree. The Editing Services Scholarship 2026 is a $1,000 award from editing.services, the writing and editing marketplace run by ServiceScape Incorporated. One winner is chosen on the quality of a 300-word essay answering a single question: how does writing impact today's world? There is no transcript, no GPA floor, no recommendation letter and no fee. University of Detroit Mercy Scholarships 2027

University of Detroit Mercy Scholarships are awarded from your admission file, so applying for admission puts you in the running for every university award automatically. Detroit Mercy does not publish freshman merit tiers, but the figures it does publish are concrete: transfer grants of $6,000 to $14,000 a year by GPA, a $2,000 Catholic Education grant, a $1,000 Visit Grant, and international awards up to $10,000 a year. Above those sit four routes to full tuition, the Titan Edge for Michigan students, the Jesuit Founders and Phi Theta Kappa scholarships for transfers, and the MPLCC award. The date that decides how much is in play is 1 December 2026, the Scholarship Priority deadline for Fall 2027 entry.

FAO Schwarz Fellowship 2027 - $105K-$115K Over 2 Years

The FAO Schwarz Fellowship is a paid two-year post-graduate role at a nonprofit host organisation in Boston, New York City or Philadelphia. Fellows starting in summer 2027 receive total compensation of roughly $115,000 in Boston and New York or $105,000 in Philadelphia, plus the same benefits as entry-level staff at their host. Applications for the 2027-2029 cycle open on 1 November 2026 and close at 9:00 PM ET on 1 February 2027. You must be a college senior graduating between November 2026 and summer 2027 from an accredited four-year institution, and you must already be able to work in the United States, because host organisations cannot sponsor work visas.

NRF Founders Engineering Scholarship 2027 - $13,000

The NRF Founders Engineering Scholarship is the Natural Refrigeration Foundation's award for undergraduate engineering students heading into the natural refrigeration industry. Applications for the 2027-2028 academic year are open now and close on 31 January 2027, with recipients expected to be announced in June 2027. A junior-year award pays $4,000 in two installments of $2,000. The senior-year award pays $9,000 in two installments of $4,500 for recipients who attended IIAR's Annual Natural Refrigeration Conference and Expo in the spring of their junior year, or $4,000 for those who did not, which puts the full package at up to $13,000 of tuition assistance. Funds go straight to your college. The award also covers conference registration, coach airfare, lodging and meals, and puts you in front of the people who hire in this field.

Berea College Scholarship 2027 - No Tuition, Fully Funded

Berea College charges no student tuition, and has not done so since 1892. Every admitted student receives the Tuition Promise Scholarship, which covers whatever tuition is left after federal, state, institutional and private aid has been applied. Tuition is listed at $56,900 for 2026-2027, and Berea funds as much of the $5,000 housing and $4,142 food charge as your FAFSA allows, which is why 85 per cent of the fall 2025 class paid nothing at all. From Fall 2027, the intake this guide covers, Berea guarantees 100 per cent of tuition, housing, food, fees and supplies for every enrolled student with no loans. Admission is restricted to students with high financial need and strong academic promise, and every student works at least 10 hours a week in the Labor Program.

Iowa State University Scholarship 2027 - Up to $40,000

The Iowa State University Scholarship most international undergraduates chase is the International Merit Scholarship, awarded to first-year and transfer students assessed international tuition rates. First-year students can receive an Award of Achievement worth $5,000 to $10,000 a year, up to $40,000 across eight semesters, or an Award of Distinction worth $2,000 to $4,000 a year. Transfer students have their own smaller ladder that runs up to $20,000 over five semesters. Unlike the automatic International Student Excellence Award, the Merit Scholarship needs the OneApp scholarship application, and the Fall 2027 priority date for first-year applicants is 15 February 2027.

Alabama Presidential Scholarship 2027 - $28,000/Year

The Alabama Presidential Scholarship is the second-highest automatic merit award at The University of Alabama, and you never fill in a separate form for it. Out-of-state and international freshmen entering in 2027 get $28,000 per year on a 3.50 GPA with a 32 to 36 ACT or a 1420 to 1600 SAT. Alabama residents qualify a tier lower, from a 30 ACT or a 1360 SAT, and their award is the value of tuition rather than a fixed sum. The UA Undergraduate App doubles as the scholarship application, and the priority deadline for Summer and Fall 2027 entry is 4 December 2026.

University of Rochester Chemistry PhD Scholarship 2027

Every PhD student in the University of Rochester Department of Chemistry gets the same package: a full tuition scholarship, health insurance and a living stipend set at $35,520 for the 2026-2027 academic year. The GRE is not required, applications close on 1 December for fall entry only, and the $70 application fee is waived automatically for anyone with a 3.5 GPA or better. Teaching is part of the deal at six units across the degree, usually three semesters in the first two years, and departmental fellowships such as Sherman-Clarke, Ewart and Weissberger add a bonus on top of the base stipend later on.

Notre Dame Doctoral Program 2027 - Sustainable Development

The University of Notre Dame's Doctoral Program in Sustainable Development at the Keough School of Global Affairs opens for a Fall 2027 start, with applications closing on 1 December 2026. Admitted students get a five-year funding guarantee: a 12-month stipend set at $39,000 for Keough doctoral students in 2026-2027, a full tuition scholarship worth $69,510 a year, a health insurance premium subsidy, summer research support and up to $4,000 for conferences and professional development. The programme is STEM-designated, takes about five years, and trains researchers in climate change mitigation and adaptation, environmental governance and development policy.

Hertz Fellowship 2027 - Up to $250,000 for a PhD

The Hertz Fellowship is the hardest doctoral award in American science to win and one of the most generous. Fellows get up to five years of support worth as much as $250,000: a $38,000 nine-month personal stipend, the full tuition equivalent at any of more than 50 US universities, and $5,000 a year more if they have dependent children. It is open only to US citizens and permanent residents heading into or just starting a PhD in the applied physical and biological sciences, mathematics or engineering. The 2027 application opened on 31 August 2026 and closes on 30 October 2026, with references due 2 November. Nineteen fellows were chosen from more than 1,450 applicants last cycle.

The Knight Hennessy Scholarship 2027 is Stanford University's flagship graduate award, run as the Knight-Hennessy Scholars programme.
