Brian Jimenez Memorial Scholarship 2027 - $500
The Brian Jimenez Memorial Scholarship from the Redlands Community Scholarship Foundation awards $500 to one male Redlands High School senior who played baseball or soccer, holds at least a 2.5 GPA, and will attend college full time. You must attend a Texas public district or charter school and graduate on schedule. The statewide top scorer also receives the Wade & Sandy Burroughs Scholarship worth an additional $500. AOPA Flight Training Scholarships 2027 - Up to $14K
AOPA Foundation flight training scholarships help current AOPA members pay for primary certificates, advanced ratings, aviation maintenance, and related career training through one online general application matched to every fund you qualify for. High school students can join AOPA free; awards range from about $250 to $14,000, including at least ninety $12,000 high school private pilot scholarships in recent cycles. You must live in the U.S., D.C., Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands, upload transcripts and references, and finish training within twelve months of the award date. Act of Kindness Scholarship 2027 - $1,000 NPVA
The National Parent Volunteer Association Act of Kindness Scholarship pays $1,000 to a student committed to helping others at school or in the community. NPVA shares one eligibility block across its merit awards: high school juniors and seniors, undergraduates, and graduate students with at least a 2.5 GPA who are enrolled or planning to enroll part-time or full-time at an accredited US college, university, or vocational program. Achieving My Potential Scholarship 2027 - $1,000
The Ghanouni Teen & Young Adult Defense Firm Achieving My Potential Scholarship awards $1,000 to a student who went through the juvenile or criminal justice system as a young adult and is building a brighter future. You must be enrolled in a US trade school, undergraduate, graduate, or other post-secondary program, or be a high school senior who will enroll before the 26 February 2027 deadline. The firm requires a 2.0 minimum GPA, a resume, a transcript or acceptance proof, and a 750-1,000 word essay on your experience and how the award would help you move forward. Advocates Law Scholarship 2027 - $2,000
The Advocates Law Scholarship from Driggs, Bills & Day PLLC awards $2,000 each year to two U.S. students: $1,000 for a high school junior or senior and $1,000 for a current college student at an accredited U.S. institution. Constitution Scholarship 2027 - Up to $10,000
The Restoration of America Foundation Constitution Scholarship pairs free Hillsdale College online courses with cash awards from $2,000 up to $10,000 for U.S. citizens age 16 and older in high school, homeschool, college, university, or trade school. You must finish Introduction to the Constitution and Constitution 101, upload your certificates, and complete the ROAF application on ffroa.com. A third approved Hillsdale course unlocks the $5,000 and $10,000 tiers. Funds pay tuition at private high schools, colleges, universities, and trade schools. The January 31, 2027 deadline runs at 11:59 p.m. Eastern, winners are announced about 60 days later, and you may apply once per semester until you win.
Sally Beauty HS Scholarship 2027 - $1,000
The Sally Beauty Scholarships for High School Graduates help new cosmetology students through the Professional Beauty Association. Sally Beauty Supply funds the awards and PBA administers them alongside other beauty-industry scholarships at probeauty.org. High school graduates under age 26 who plan to enter an accredited cosmetology program may apply with a completed form, two recommendation letters, a personal essay, and a transcript. CareerOneStop lists ten $1,000 awards with a January 15 deadline. Check probeauty.org/scholarships each fall for the live application because PBA rotates sponsored programs on that page.
Technology Addiction Awareness Scholarship 2027
Digital Responsibility awards $1,000 through the Technology Addiction Awareness Scholarship to U.S. citizens or legal residents in high school, college, graduate school, or homeschool programs. There is no age limit. You submit a 140-character statement completing the prompt "Instead of spending time with technology, I'd rather…" through the sponsor's online form. Finalists may be asked for a 500- to 1,000-word essay on technology addiction. The scholarship highlights screen-time risks and is one of four Digital Responsibility awards on the same site. The listed deadline for the current cycle is January 30, 2027.
SNC Women in STEM Scholarship 2027 - $7,500
Sierra Nevada Corporation's Women in STEM Scholarship, administered by Scholarship America, awards five $7,500 grants to U.S. citizens who identify as female and pursue non-medical STEM degrees at accredited two- or four-year colleges. High school seniors, undergraduates, and graduate students need a 3.5 GPA, part-time or full-time enrollment for the full award year, demonstrated financial need, and a STEM career plan. Each winner is matched with an SNC mentor. The Ozmen Foundation at the Community Foundation of Northern Nevada funds the program. Applications historically open in early December and close around mid-January, with late-March notifications and August payments.
MIT THINK Scholars 2027 - $1K STEM Projects
The MIT THINK Scholars Program, run by MIT undergraduates through TechX, funds high school students who propose original STEM research they have not yet been able to run. Up to six finalists receive up to $1,000 in project funding, weekly mentorship from MIT students, and usually an all-expenses-paid campus visit. You must be a full-time high school student in grades 9-12 with permanent U.S. residency during the school year; citizenship is not required. For the 2026-27 cycle, applications opened 1 November 2025 and closed 1 January 2026; expect a similar November-to-January window for the next round leading into spring 2027 project work.
Outlaw Student Nursing Scholarship 2027 - $500
Outlaw Student Nursing School Scholarships, operated by StraightForward Media in Surprise, Arizona, award $500 four times per year to nursing students enrolled in or accepted to accredited US nursing programs. Each quarter is a separate merit competition requiring a transcript, resume or activity list, and essay. Historical windows closed in January, April, July, and October.
