1982 Green Machine Scholarship 2027 - Pauahi
The 1982 Green Machine Scholarship from the Pauahi Foundation honors the Kamehameha Schools Class of 1982 with one postsecondary award for full-time college juniors or seniors who hold at least a 3.0 GPA, show leadership and community service, and write two supplemental essays. Preference goes to nontraditional students such as single parents, sole providers, or students who have experienced homelessness, disability, or foster care. The fund is open to learners in Hawaiʻi and on the U.S. continent. Pauahi Foundation gives preference to applicants of Hawaiian ancestry where law allows. Across The Bridge Scholarship 2027 - $1,000 USA
The Across The Bridge Scholarship from Bridge Endowment awards $1,000 to one US student each cycle to help cover costs on the path toward an associate, bachelor, master, or professional degree. Applicants must be US residents at least 17 years old and enrolled or planning enrollment at an accredited US college. Selection weighs your essay on goals, learning commitment, and how the award helps you cross personal barriers. Applications open December 1, 2026 with a December 31 deadline at bridgeendowment.org.
AISLS Language Instruction Grants 2027 - $400
AISLS Language Instruction Grants help US graduate students, faculty, and scholar-members build Sinhala, Tamil, or Pali for research on Sri Lanka. Awards up to $400 cover in-country tutoring or virtual lessons with tutors based in Sri Lanka, funded through the US Department of Education. Proposals are reviewed on a rolling basis by email to the AISLS US director.
SmithGroup JEDI Scholarship 2027 - $6,000
The SmithGroup Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Scholarship, now promoted as the Design a Better Future Scholarship, awards $6,000 tuition grants to five US students each year who advance inclusion in architecture, engineering, and planning. Recipients also complete a required paid summer internship at a SmithGroup office. Applications for the 2027 class are scheduled to open 28 September 2026 through smithgroup.com/become-an-intern, with eligibility tied to junior-or-higher standing, a 3.0 GPA, US work authorization, and enrollment during Fall 2027.
NERRS Graduate Research Fellowship 2027 - NOAA
The Margaret A. Davidson Graduate Fellowship, often searched as the NERRS Graduate Research Fellowship, places master's and doctoral students at one of 30 National Estuarine Research Reserves for two years of collaborative coastal research. NOAA funds up to $45,000 per year in direct costs for stipend, tuition, travel, and supplies. US citizens and permanent residents apply through their university on Grants.gov; applications are due in late 2026 for an August 2027 fellowship start.
Fairleigh Dickinson University Scholarships 2027
Fairleigh Dickinson University Scholarships come out of the admission file, not a separate competition. FDU states plainly that applying for admission puts you in the running and no separate scholarship application is needed. Incoming freshmen are considered for merit awards up to $22,000 a year on high school GPA, renewable for four years. International freshmen have their own ladder, the FDU International Scholarship worth up to $24,000 a year, with a $16,000 transfer version, a $3,000 Global Housing Grant on the Metropolitan campus and $1,500 family and alumni grants. The next published cutoff is 1 December 2026 for January 2027 entry.
Kansas State University Scholarship 2027 - Up to $76,404
Kansas State University hands out its general university scholarships automatically. Apply for admission by the priority date and you are considered, with no essay and no separate scholarship form. Kansas residents sit on a five-step ladder running from the $1,000 a year 1863 Landmark Award up to the $5,000 a year University Scholar Award. Out-of-state and international freshmen are assessed for the Wildcat Non-Resident Award, which wipes out 50% to 100% of the non-resident portion of tuition and is estimated at $9,551 to $19,101 a year, or $38,204 to $76,404 across four years. Domestic freshmen starting in Fall 2027 apply by 1 December 2026, while transfer and international applicants work to 1 May 2027. Competitive awards such as the $80,000 Presidential Scholarship need a supplemental application by 5 p.m. on 15 December 2026.
International Monetary Fund Internship 2027 in DC
The International Monetary Fund Internship is the Fund Internship Program (FIP), a paid summer placement at IMF headquarters in Washington, DC for current master's and PhD students in economics, and for law students through the Legal Department route. About 50 students join each year from around the world. Internships run for 10 to 12 weeks between June and October, and the IMF pays a salary, round-trip restricted economy class air travel from your university to Washington, and limited medical insurance. Housing is not provided. The IMF publishes no closing date: postings go up on its career site in early December and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
Forage Virtual Internship Program 2027 - 100% Free
The Forage virtual internship program is a catalogue of free online job simulations built by employers such as Citi, BCG, Bloomberg, Mastercard and AIG. Forage calls them 100% free, open access and self-paced, and the certificate at the end costs nothing either. There is no application form, no selection round, no deadline and no cohort. You register, pick a simulation, work through tasks that copy real work, compare your answers with the model answers the company recorded, and keep the certificate. What it is not is an internship in the legal sense: nobody pays you, nobody employs you, and no job is promised at the end.
Google Higher Ed Faculty AI Fellowship 2026 - No Stipend
The Google Higher Ed Faculty AI Fellowship is Google for Education's recognition programme for university faculty who already put AI to work in their teaching and research. Applications for the 2026 inaugural cohort are open, and there are two ways in: a personal nomination from a Google leader, or a self-application through the Google for Education application portal. Selected fellows join a global network, act as ambassadors for responsible AI on their campus, and work on one impact challenge they name themselves. Google publishes no stipend, no salary and no award amount for this fellowship, and its own FAQ says fellows must self-fund travel, accommodation, parking and any meals the programme does not cover at the in-person convening. The application asks for a short portfolio of innovation, a 90-second video, an impact challenge and a letter from your Dean or Program Chair.
Carnegie Endowment Internship 2027 - Paid DC Roles
The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace runs paid internships across its Washington research programs and its support departments, open to all students and recent graduates. Every intern, part time or full time, is paid at least $20 an hour. Full-time interns receive a benefits package and part-time interns get limited benefits. Individual postings say whether the role is open to remote candidates or restricted to people who can work from the DC-metro area. There is no single application form and no annual cutoff. Roles appear on the Carnegie jobs board as programs need them, so the practical approach is to watch the board rather than wait for a date. US work authorisation is the hard gate for any US-based internship.
Capital University Scholarship 2027 - $80,000 Award
Capital University in Columbus, Ohio hands every admitted full-time undergraduate the Main Street Scholarship, a minimum $80,000 applied over four years, which works out at $20,000 a year for up to eight semesters. On top of that sits the Capital Merit Scholarship, a stackable award set purely by weighted high school GPA and worth $2,000 to $8,000 a year, so a first-year student lands somewhere between $22,000 and $28,000 a year before need-based aid is added. There is no separate scholarship form. Your admission application is the scholarship application, and the offer letter arrives on the day you are admitted. Transfer students get their own GPA ladder up to $25,000, international students start at $29,000 a year, and Ohio residents under a $60,000 household income with a 3.5 GPA can reach full tuition and fees through the Capital Gateway Scholarship.
