Hypertherm HyTech Leadership Scholarship 2027
The Hypertherm International HyTech Leadership Scholarship from the AWS Foundation pays $2,500 to a graduate student pursuing engineering management in the welding and cutting industry. You need a completed or in-progress bachelor of science degree, acceptance at an accredited graduate school, and a minimum 2.8 GPA. Financial need is optional but can boost your ranking. FLAS Academic Year Fellowship 2027 - Title VI
Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) academic year fellowships are federal Title VI awards that help US citizens and permanent residents pay for intensive modern language study combined with area or international studies at a US college that holds a Department of Education FLAS allocation. For the 2025-2026 grant cycle, published caps are $18,000 toward tuition and fees plus a $20,000 stipend for graduate fellows ($38,000 total) and $10,000 tuition plus a $5,000 stipend for undergraduates ($15,000 total). You never apply to the Department of Education directly; each National Resource Center or FLAS-granting program runs its own competition, usually in late winter or spring for the following academic year. Deadlines and language lists differ by campus, so Columbia''s Weatherhead East Asian Institute is one example among dozens nationwide.
El Dorado Mineral & Gem Scholarship 2027 - CA
The El Dorado County Mineral and Gem Society Earth Science and Lapidary Arts Scholarship awards about $2,000 total each cycle to El Dorado County residents pursuing geology, earth sciences, lapidary arts, or related majors at accredited colleges. Graduating high school seniors and current undergraduate or graduate students need a 3.0 cumulative GPA. Active society membership receives preference. Download the society application from edcmgs.org, complete it exclusively on that form, and mail it postmarked by March 1 to PO Box 950, Placerville, CA 95667.
Soros Justice Media Fellowship Track II 2027
Soros Justice Media Fellowship Track II from Open Society-U.S. targets experienced media makers with at least ten years of full-time work on US criminal justice storytelling. The last published Track II award was $85,000 over twelve months of full-time project work, with deliverables due during the fellowship year. Open Society paused the Soros Justice Fellowships and did not issue a 2025 call; watch opensocietyfoundations.org for any revival before planning a March application.
Richard M. Weaver Fellowship 2027 - Up to $15,000
The Intercollegiate Studies Institute Richard M. Weaver Graduate Fellowship awards up to fifteen US citizens in humanities or social-science graduate programs between $5,000 and $15,000 for the 2027-28 academic year when they commit to college teaching. ISI excludes paraprofessional tracks such as law, medicine, divinity, and business. The 2026-27 cycle closed 14 March 2026; expect the next portal to open in fall 2026 with a mid-March 2027 deadline following the annual pattern.
SkillPointe Quarterly Scholarship 2027 - $1,000
The SkillPointe Foundation Quarterly Scholarship awards up to four $1,000 grants each quarter to US residents training for skilled trades and technical careers that do not require a four-year degree. Official rules list deadlines on the last day of March, June, September, and December at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. You apply online with contact details, background, training plans, and two original 250-word English responses on why you chose your career path and how the training supports your goals. Training must be at an approved community college, technical college, or certificate provider and must not count toward a college degree. Donald & Shirley Hastings Scholarship 2027 - $2,500
The Donald and Shirley Hastings Scholarship from the AWS Foundation awards $2,500 to one U.S. citizen at least 18 years old who pursues a four-year bachelor's degree in welding engineering or welding engineering technology at an accredited U.S. college or university. You need a minimum 2.5 GPA, documented financial need including a filed FAFSA, two recommendations, a personal statement, and enrollment verification. Priority goes to welding engineering majors and to residents or students in Iowa, Ohio, or California. Winners may reapply for up to four years. Molded Dimensions LLC Scholarship 2027 - WI
Molded Dimensions Group, a Port Washington, Wisconsin manufacturer of custom rubber and urethane parts, sponsors a local scholarship for Wisconsin high school seniors heading to accredited post-secondary study. CareerOneStop lists a $1,000 award with a spring deadline, preference for students interested in manufacturing, engineering, or business, and application details through the sponsor or local scholarship channels. moldedgroup.com does not host a dedicated scholarship page, so confirm instructions with [email protected] before you apply.
Lichtman Community Service Scholarship 2027 - $1,000
The Law Offices of Jeffrey Lichtman Community Service Scholarship awards $1,000 to one student who started a community service project that tackled a real local problem. The New York criminal defense firm runs the contest nationwide for legal U.S. residents in vocational school, college, or graduate programs, plus high school seniors and GED holders headed to college. You need a 3.0 GPA, a 750-1,000 word essay about service you initiated, a resume, and a transcript or acceptance letter. Materials are due 30 March 2027 through the firm''s online form. Essays are screened for AI-generated text.
AIA Alaska College Scholarship 2026 - Up to $4,000
AIA Alaska awards college scholarships of up to $4,000 per year to Alaska residents pursuing accredited architecture degrees at universities outside the state, where nonresident tuition, studio costs, books, and travel add up quickly. Applications open 15 January 2026 and are due 15 March 2026. Awards support third- and fourth-year B.Arch students or graduate architecture students and pay toward the fall semester.
Striving Solo Parent Scholarship 2027 - $1,000
Daniel R. Bacalis, P.C., a Hurst, Texas family law firm, awards $1,000 each semester through the Striving Solo Parent Scholarship to one single parent enrolled at an accredited US college or university. You must be a US citizen or permanent resident, carry at least a 3.0 GPA in your most recent semester, and submit a 1,500-word essay on one of the firm prompts plus an unofficial transcript, proof of enrollment, and consent to publish your essay. Applications for the Spring 2027 semester are due by 12 March 2027 via dbacalis.com/scholarship or the OVC Scholarship Network portal linked there.
NorthCoast Medical Scholarship 2027 - $5,000 OTA
The NorthCoast Medical Scholarship, funded through the American Occupational Therapy Foundation, awards $5,000 to one occupational therapy assistant student each year. You apply through AOTF''s single online scholarship portal, which opens in mid-January 2027 for the 2026-2027 funding cycle. Eligible OTA applicants must be full-time students in an AOTA-accredited or developing OTA program, have finished at least one year of OT-specific coursework, and be in their final year. You also need three references, a resume, essay responses, and a program director statement submitted by the published closing date. AOTF notifies recipients in May.
