Lycoming County Medical Society Scholarship 2027 - $7,500
The Lycoming County Medical Society Scholarship is administered by The Foundation of the Pennsylvania Medical Society for medical students who lived in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, before enrolling in an accredited allopathic or osteopathic program. For the 2026-2027 academic year, two recipients each receive $7,500. You must be a US citizen enrolled full time at a US medical school, have at least 12 months of Lycoming County residency before registering as a medical student (excluding time in Pennsylvania only for prior college), and not have won this award in the immediately preceding year. Applications open 1 July and close 30 September 2026 through the Foundation portal, with two nonfamily reference letters, enrollment verification on school letterhead, and a 750-word essay on why you chose medicine.
Don't Text and Drive Scholarship 2026 - $1,000
The Don''t Text and Drive Scholarship 2026 is a $1,000 award from Digital Responsibility, a Silicon Valley nonprofit that educates young people about technology''s personal and public consequences. You must be a US citizen or legal resident in high school (freshman through senior) or enrolled at any level of college or graduate school; homeschoolers qualify and there is no age limit. The first step is a 140-character message completing the idea ''I pledge not to text and drive because…'' The top ten finalists write a 500- to 1,000-word essay, and one winner receives $1,000. The deadline is 30 September 2026.
D.O.O.R.S. Scholarship 2026 - $5,000 Life Sciences Award
The D.O.O.R.S. (Development Of Our Research Scientists) Scholarship 2026 is a $5,000 award plus industry mentorship from the BioPharmaceutical Technology Center Institute (BTCI) and Promega Corporation. Ten undergraduate students in US, Canadian, or Puerto Rican life sciences programs are selected each year based on research promise, academic strength, and commitment to biotechnology careers. Apply with a personal statement, a research abstract, and a professor recommendation by 30 September 2026, 11:59 p.m. CDT. Winners are notified by 2 November 2026 and attend D.O.O.R.S. Scholar''s Day on the Promega campus in Madison, Wisconsin.
Future Web Developers Scholarship 2026 - $1,000 IT Award

Fernandez Law Group Scholarship 2027 - $1,000 Pre-Law
The Fernandez Law Group Scholarship For Students is a $1,000 award from Fernandez Law Group, a California personal injury firm with offices in Santa Monica and Los Angeles. One recipient each cycle gets a check for tuition and related school expenses. You must be a US citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the United States, hold at least a 3.0 cumulative undergraduate GPA, and be accepted to attend a US school as a pre-law undergraduate or as a first-year law student. The application asks for a resume, transcripts, proof of residency, an acceptance letter, and a one-to-three-page essay on the legal field you plan to pursue. Completed packages are due through the firm''s online form by 15 September 2027, with winners typically notified around 28 September.
Archway Academic Achievement Award 2026 - $1,500
The Archway Academic Achievement Award from Pivot Education Group gives one US college student $1,500 with no application fee. Any incoming or current college student who is a US citizen or resident, age 18 or older, may apply regardless of school or background. You share basics about your degree path and a short honest statement about where you are headed. Pivot reads every eligible entry and replies by email. The current cycle closes 30 September 2026.
Building Bridges Scholarship 2026 - $1,000 NPVA Award
The Building Bridges Scholarship 2026 is a $1,000 merit award from the National Parent Volunteer Association (NPVA) for students who are actively involved in their communities. Applicants write a short essay of up to 150 words describing their community engagement. You can be a high school junior or senior, an undergraduate, or a graduate student, with a GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, enrolled or planning to enroll at an accredited US college, university, or vocational program. The 2026 deadline is 30 September 2026. Winners provide an official transcript and proof of enrollment after selection, not at the initial application stage.
AGA Fellowship-to-Faculty Award 2027 - $130K
The AGA-Torrey Coast Foundation Fellowship-to-Faculty Transition Award gives one North American fellow $65,000 per year for two years ($130,000 total) to protect time for clinical or translational research on gastro-esophageal cancer while preparing for a faculty career. The American Gastroenterological Association runs the programme for MD or PhD trainees in their final fellowship year or the year after, or postdocs with four to six years of research experience. You need AGA membership, an AGA-member mentor, at least 50 percent effort on the project, and a career development plan. Funding starts 1 July 2027. The 2026 application window opened 18 June 2026 and closed 15 September 2026; status notifications go out by 1 February 2027.
AAUW Career Development Grant 2027 - Up to $8,000
AAUW Career Development Grants pay up to $8,000 to women who are U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent residents and hold at least an associate degree. The grant funds accredited certificate or training programs that help you enter, change, or advance in fields where women are underrepresented, including STEM, business, and law, or executive leadership training when women hold fewer than half of senior roles. Your program must start between 1 January and 30 June 2027 for the winter/spring cycle. Applications open 18 August 2026 and close 30 September 2026 at 5pm ET, with notification in November 2026 and funds in November or December 2026.
911 Fresh Start Scholarship 2027 - $1,500 Award
The 911 Restoration Fresh Start Scholarship pays $1,500 twice a year to U.S. citizens and permanent residents who are enrolled or accepted at an accredited college, university, or trade school and studying emergency management, environmental science, construction management, civil engineering, public safety, disaster preparedness, or a closely related field. You need a 3.0 cumulative GPA, a 500-to-700-word essay on community recovery after disaster, an unofficial transcript, and proof of enrollment. Spring and fall cycles run on separate deadlines; funds go to your school, not to you personally. The spring 2027 cycle opens 15 July 2026 and closes 30 September 2026, with winners announced 1 November 2026.
Bank of America Internship 2027 - Summer Analyst
The Bank of America Internship is a 10-week paid Summer Analyst Program running across the bank's US lines of business, from Global Technology and Corporate Audit through to Finance Management, Global Risk and Commodities. It is aimed squarely at students in their penultimate year of university, with graduation dates between November 2027 and August 2028, and the bank describes the summer class as its primary source of hiring into full-time campus programs. Bank of America publishes no hourly rate or salary figure on any of its US student postings. Most 2027 roles close on 30 September 2026, Commodities closes on 1 October 2026, and the Global Technology and Quantitative Data Analytics roles run to 7 November 2026. Applications are read on a rolling basis and most postings state that the bank cannot consider candidates who need visa sponsorship.
Citadel Travel Grant 2026 - Fully Funded Conferences
The Citadel Conference Travel Grant sends students in quantitative fields to the world's top technical conferences with the bill paid. Citadel buys the full-access conference pass, books round-trip airfare and lodging through its own travel agency, hands out Uber vouchers for the airport and the week, and adds a meal stipend on top. Grace Hopper is the one exception, where the pass itself is not part of the grant. Eligible conferences run from Grace Hopper and NeurIPS to ICML, ICLR, ACL and the Global Physics Summit, and you can apply to as many as you like. The application is unusually light: an email address and a resume. For the 2026 round, Grace Hopper in Anaheim closes 25 September 2026 and NeurIPS in Sydney closes 5 October 2026. Citadel publishes no cash figure for the grant and there are no post-conference obligations.
