The Let''s Grow Kids Scholarship for Aspiring Early Educators - New Students, administered by VSAC, helps Vermont residents begin associate or bachelor degrees in early childhood education or related fields with an early childhood concentration. High school seniors and adults new to college ECE paths may apply with at least three-quarter-time enrollment at a Title IV school, a 2.5 cumulative GPA where applicable, financial need on FAFSA, VTAEYC membership, and a plan to work in Vermont child care for at least two years after graduation. Submit the Unified Scholarship Application with ID LGK-NS, essay #1, recommendation letter #1, and transcript by February 11, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern.

The Bernice Murray Scholarship helps Vermont single parents pay for child care while they earn an undergraduate degree. Former U.S. Senator James Jeffords and the Federal Executives'' Association sponsor the fund to honor Bernice Murray, longtime aide to Senator Jeffords. VSAC administers awards through the Unified Scholarship Application with FAFSA, essay #1, one non-relative recommendation, and detailed child care information. You must have primary custody of at least one child age twelve or younger, enroll at least half time at a Title IV-eligible college, and show financial need. VSAC may grant one or more scholarships up to $4,000 each for child care costs. For 2027-2028 aid, submit the USA and all documents by February 11, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern, with applications opening October 1, 2026.

The ITE Diversity Scholars Program, now branded as the ITE University Scholars Program, supports US high school seniors and community college transfer students who plan to study transportation engineering, planning, or related fields at a four-year university with an ITE Student Chapter. Scholars can receive up to $20,000 total, paid up to $4,000 per year for as many as five years, plus mentoring, chapter engagement, and internship connections. Applicants need a 3.0 high school GPA, US citizenship or lawful permanent residency, and preference goes to first-generation and Pell-eligible students. Applications are due March 15 at 5:00 p.m. Central Time on the ITE scholarship platform.
