Samara Fund Scholarship 2027 - VSAC

The RehabGYM Scholarship, administered by VSAC, honors Vermont students who overcame a significant physical challenge or illness with courage and perseverance. You must seek a certificate or undergraduate degree, enroll at least three-quarter time at a Title IV college, and show financial need. Priority may go to students aiming at physical or mental health, fitness, wellness, public health, or related fields. The Katie Currier Memorial Scholarship, sponsored by the Katie Currier Scholarship Fund and administered by VSAC, honors Essex High School student-athlete Katie Currier. Current EHS seniors who seek an undergraduate degree at a Title IV college may compete for two $1,000 awards, one for a male applicant and one for a female applicant. You must enroll at least half time, show education and work ethic, and explain your athlete story in essay #1 with one non-relative recommendation. Enter ID CURRIER on the Unified Scholarship Application by February 11, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern.

The Green Up Vermont Scholarship, sponsored by Vermont Green Up and administered by VSAC, awards one $1,000 scholarship to an undergraduate who has actively participated in Vermont Green Up Day and shows school or community service. You need essay #1 on why the environment matters and how Green Up Day shaped your goals, recommendation letter #2 for community service, and a signed coordinator letter confirming Green Up Day participation on the Unified Scholarship Application with ID GREENUP. FAFSA is not listed among required documents. Submit by February 11, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern for Title IV study.

The ITE Diversity Scholars Program, now branded as the ITE University Scholars Program, supports US high school seniors and community college transfer students who plan to study transportation engineering, planning, or related fields at a four-year university with an ITE Student Chapter. Scholars can receive up to $20,000 total, paid up to $4,000 per year for as many as five years, plus mentoring, chapter engagement, and internship connections. Applicants need a 3.0 high school GPA, US citizenship or lawful permanent residency, and preference goes to first-generation and Pell-eligible students. Applications are due March 15 at 5:00 p.m. Central Time on the ITE scholarship platform.
