Feeding Hope Clinical Research Grant 2026 - NEDA
The Feeding Hope Fund for Clinical Research from the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) backs human-participant pilot studies on eating disorders that can reach clinical care or early intervention within one to five years. Two tracks run in each cycle: the Feeding Hope Award up to $100,000 over two years for established investigators, and the Early Career Investigator grant up to $50,000 for assistant professors and below, including postdoctoral and predoctoral researchers. US citizens or lawful permanent residents at US institutions apply first with a Letter of Intent, then finalists submit full proposals. Basic science-only projects are out of scope; underserved communities and access-to-care equity are priorities. The 2025 cycle used an August 25 LOI deadline; expect a similar late-summer 2026 window on nationaleatingdisorders.org.
Luce/ACLS American Art Fellowship 2026 - $42,500
Luce/ACLS Dissertation Fellowships in American Art fund seven PhD candidates at US universities researching US visual art and Native American art. Each award totals $42,500 ($38,000 stipend plus up to $4,500 for travel and research) for nine to twelve months between July 2026 and June 2027. Apply through ACLS by 28 October 2026, 5:00 PM Eastern.
Community Impact Scholarship 2026 - $1,000 USA
The New Mexico Accident Firm Community Impact Scholarship awards $1,000 to one US student who shows sustained local service through high school, vocational training, or college. Duran & McDonald's Albuquerque personal injury firm runs the annual contest nationwide, with preference for applicants from or attending secondary school in New Mexico. You need a 3.0 GPA, good standing at your school, a 500-to-750-word essay on community work (AI-generated text disqualifies you), a resume, transcripts, and the online form. The 2025 cycle closed 1 September 2025; the next intake is expected around 1 September 2026 on newmexicoaccidentfirm.com.
Creative BioMart Scholarship 2026 - $1,000
Creative BioMart awards $1,000 once per year to one undergraduate, graduate, or Ph.D. student majoring in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology, or a related life-science field with at least a 3.0 GPA. Upload the online application, CV, transcript, enrollment certificate, recommendation letter, and an 800-word essay or 10-12-slide deck on protein science by 31 October 2026. The winner is announced 30 November 2026.
APHA KP Community Health Scholarship 2027
The APHA KP Community Health Scholarship, funded by Kaiser Permanente through the East Bay Community Foundation, awards up to $15,000 for MPH students and up to $20,000 for DrPH or PhD students entering full-time public health programs at eight partner universities. Up to twenty US citizens or permanent residents who commit to health equity leadership may apply each cycle. Preference goes to first-generation, lower-income, and underrepresented students. Apply through APHA with transcripts, essays, and financial information before the October deadline; contact [email protected] with questions.
Alfa Chemistry Scholarship 2027 - $1,000 Science
Alfa Chemistry awards $1,000 to one full-time undergraduate, graduate, or Ph.D. student in biochemistry, chemistry, chemical engineering, or materials science with at least a 3.0 GPA. Email the application form, recommendation letter, official transcript, and an original 600-800-word essay or 8-10-slide presentation on deformulation, building-block chemistry, or nanomaterials to [email protected] by 30 November 2027. Selection weighs academics, leadership, and community service. Winners are announced around 15 December.
BOC Sciences Chemistry Scholarship 2026 - $1,000
BOC Sciences awards $1,000 once per year to a full-time undergraduate, graduate, or Ph.D. student majoring in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, or a related science with at least a 3.0 GPA. Submit the Excel application, recommendation letter, official transcript, and an 800-1,000-word essay or 10-12-slide presentation on an approved topic by email to [email protected] before 31 October 2026. Winners are announced 15 November 2026.
SNRS Sigma Research Grant 2027 - Up to $5,000
The Sigma and Southern Nursing Research Society collaborative grant, often searched as SNRS/STTI research funding, awards up to $5,000 for pilot or development nursing research. Licensed RNs who are members in good standing of both Sigma (formerly Sigma Theta Tau International) and SNRS, hold at least a master's degree or equivalent, and are enrolled in a doctoral program may apply through Sigma's online system. Research cannot double as a degree requirement. The April 1 deadline pattern funds projects starting August 1. The 2026 cycle is closed; plan for the April 1, 2027 submission window.
ScienceLogic Scholarship 2027 - $2,500 Essay Award
ScienceLogic, the Reston-based IT operations software company, has offered an annual essay scholarship of $2,500 to two U.S. students who write about how connected technology affects society. Applicants need a 3.0 GPA, full-time enrollment at an accredited U.S. college or university, U.S. citizenship, a 1,300 to 1,500 word essay, and a professor recommendation. Historical cycles closed each September 1. The dedicated scholarship page on sciencelogic.com may redirect during site updates, so confirm the live contest rules before you submit for the 2027 intake.
Informatics Pre Doctoral Fellowship 2027 - PhRMA
The PhRMA Foundation Informatics Pre Doctoral Fellowship funds PhD candidates who use informatics in an integrative approach to biological and disease processes, combining new computational methods with experimental validation. Predoctoral awards follow the Foundation''s graduate stipend structure (currently $30,000 per year for 12, 18, or 24 months at accredited US universities). You must be a full-time in-residence PhD student who has finished most coursework, hold at least one publication or poster, and propose informatics work that goes beyond standard bioinformatics analysis. Applications route through the university; verify informatics deadlines on phrmafoundation.org each cycle.
UNDP Internship Programme 2027 - New York HQ Stipend
The UNDP Internship Programme places students and recent graduates inside United Nations Development Programme teams for six weeks to six months, and the New York headquarters is one of its duty stations. Past headquarters calls have covered UN system affairs, corporate and institutional law, programmes and projects law, and policy and advocacy on climate and security risk. Unlike several other UN internships, this one pays: an in-person intern who is not funded by a university, government, foundation or scholarship receives a monthly stipend set for the duty station, calculated as 45 per cent of the lowest level of the local NPSA salary scale. UNDP pays nothing else. Travel, visas, passports, accommodation, living costs and medical insurance are all yours. Vacancies appear on the UNDP Job Page through the year at post level IN, with no annual application round.
International Monetary Fund Internship 2027 in DC
The International Monetary Fund Internship is the Fund Internship Program (FIP), a paid summer placement at IMF headquarters in Washington, DC for current master's and PhD students in economics, and for law students through the Legal Department route. About 50 students join each year from around the world. Internships run for 10 to 12 weeks between June and October, and the IMF pays a salary, round-trip restricted economy class air travel from your university to Washington, and limited medical insurance. Housing is not provided. The IMF publishes no closing date: postings go up on its career site in early December and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
