National Board Technical Scholarship 2027 - Up to $12K
The National Board Technical Scholarship from the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors (NBBI) awards $6,000 to $12,000 to students enrolled full time in accredited US or Canadian colleges pursuing mechanical, manufacturing, electrical, industrial, welding, or chemical engineering or closely related fields. You must be the child, stepchild, grandchild, or great-grandchild of a current or former National Board commissioned inspector or NBBI employee. Applications open September 1, 2026, and are due February 28, 2027, with notification by March 31.
Nancy Lorraine Jensen Scholarship 2027 - STEM Women
The Nancy Lorraine Jensen Memorial Scholarship from the Sons of Norway Foundation supports US women ages 17 to 35 who study chemistry, physics, or chemical, electrical, or mechanical engineering at the undergraduate level. Awards range from half tuition for one term up to full tuition for one year, renewable for up to three years. You need Sons of Norway membership or qualifying family membership, SAT 1200 (math 600+) or ACT 26+, and at least one completed college term. Applications open October 1 and are due January 15 through the Sons of Norway online portal.
Mildred Towle Scholarship 2027 - Hawaii HCF
The Mildred Towle Scholarship for African-Americans from the Hawaiʻi Community Foundation supports U.S. citizens of African-American ethnicity who demonstrate financial need and at least a 3.0 GPA while enrolled full time at a college or university in Hawaiʻi. Preference goes to social sciences related to international understanding and interracial fellowship, and to prior recipients in good standing. You do not need Hawaiʻi residency. Apply through the HCF Common Scholarship Application when the 2027-2028 cycle opens December 8, 2026 and closes February 26, 2027 at 4 p.m. HST with FAFSA, transcripts, and any fund-specific essays.
Northwest Vermont Accounting Scholarship 2027
The Northwest Vermont Accounting Scholarship, sponsored by the Vermont Community Foundation fund and administered by VSAC, awards two $1,000 scholarships to residents of Addison, Chittenden, Franklin, Grand Isle, Lamoille, or Washington County who pursue accounting degrees at Title IV schools. You need FAFSA-documented need, academic achievement on your transcript, essay #1, and one non-relative recommendation. Enter NWVTACCT on the Unified Scholarship Application by February 11, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern.
Nichols Family Ag & Env Science 2027
The Nichols Family Scholarship for Agriculture and Environmental Science, administered by VSAC, offers up to two awards of $6,250 for Vermont undergraduates majoring in agriculture or environmental studies. Full-time enrollment at a Title IV school, FAFSA-documented need, essay #1, and one non-relative recommendation are required. Enter NICHOLS-AG on the Unified Scholarship Application by February 11, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern. Awards may renew for up to three additional years.
Nichols Family Scholarship 2027 - Up to $6,250
The Nichols Family Scholarship from VSAC honors Francis and Louise Nichols and their children with up to two awards of $6,250 each for Vermont undergraduates who have faced adversity and show financial need. You need at least a 2.5 GPA, full-time enrollment at a Title IV school, FAFSA, essay #1 with resilience examples, one non-relative recommendation, and a transcript. Enter NICHOLS on the Unified Scholarship Application by February 11, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern. Awards may renew for up to three additional years.
North Central Region 9 Scholarship 2027
The North Central Region 9 Scholarship from the SME Education Foundation supports high school seniors and undergraduates pursuing associate or bachelor degrees in manufacturing, mechanical or industrial engineering, or industrial technology at accredited two- or four-year colleges in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, or Michigan''s Upper Peninsula. You need a 3.0 GPA. First preference goes to SME North Central Region members and their spouses, children, or grandchildren; second preference goes to residents of those states. Apply through scholarships.smeef.org between 1 November 2026 and 1 February 2027; published listings show awards from about $1,000 to $6,000 for tuition, fees, or books.
Marsala Lifelong Hobby Scholarship 2027 - $1,000
The Marsala Law Group Lifelong Hobby Scholarship from criminal defense attorney Dominick Marsala awards $1,000 each semester to U.S. citizens or permanent residents enrolled at an accredited college or university with at least a 3.0 GPA. You submit a short video (three minutes or less) describing your lifelong hobby, how you keep it alive while juggling school and work, and how it helps you in other areas of life, plus proof of enrollment, GPA documentation, a headshot, and the online form at marsalalawgroup.com/scholarship. The firm runs the program twice a year. For Spring 2027 enrollment, plan on a deadline around March 9, 2027 unless the sponsor posts new dates.
Mark Blucher Planning Scholarship 2027 - $1,000
The Mark Blucher Planning Scholarship from the Rutland Regional Planning Commission, administered by VSAC, awards up to $1,000 to Vermont students who show interest in land use planning or related fields such as environmental studies, civil engineering, or political science. Vermont residency is required, with preference for Rutland County residents. You need at least a 3.0 GPA, financial need on FAFSA, school or community involvement, and a strong work ethic. Submit the Unified Scholarship Application with scholarship ID BLUCHER, FAFSA, essay #1, two recommendations, and a transcript by February 11, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern.
Rask Gamma Omicron Scholarship 2027 - $3,000
The Marie Mathew Rask-Gamma Omicron Educational Endowment from the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation pays about $3,000 to full-time undergraduate members of Gamma Omicron at the University of Wyoming. If no qualified Gamma Omicron applicant emerges, the fund may support a member in Eta Province, which includes chapters in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. Selection weighs academic merit, financial need, and leadership in Kappa and the community. You apply through the Foundation merit-based or need-based portal on kappakappagamma.org. For 2027-28 funding, expect a mid-November 2026 opening and a February 3 deadline, with Kappa''s national cycle also closing in early February at 5 p.m. Eastern.
Lucile B. Kaufman Women's Scholarship 2027
The Lucile B. Kaufman Women''s Scholarship is a named undergraduate fund inside the SME Education Foundation portfolio for full-time women studying manufacturing engineering, manufacturing technology, industrial engineering, engineering technology, or a closely related field at an accredited U.S. or Canadian college. You need at least 30 completed college credits, a 3.0 GPA, and standard SMEEF citizenship or residency status. Published directories list awards from about $1,000 to $6,000 for tuition, fees, or books. Apply once at scholarships.smeef.org when the cycle opens 1 November 2026 and closes 1 February 2027.
Myrtle & Earl Walker Scholarship 2027 - $1,000
The Myrtle and Earl Walker Scholarship is a named undergraduate fund inside the SME Education Foundation portfolio for full-time students pursuing manufacturing engineering, manufacturing engineering technology, or a closely related field at an accredited U.S. or Canadian college. You need at least 15 completed college credits or one semester of study, a 3.0 GPA, and intent to build a career in manufacturing engineering or technology.
