Past Presidents SWE Scholarship 2027 - $6,500

Northrop Grumman SWE Scholarship 2027 - $5,000
The Northrop Grumman SWE Scholarship from the Society of Women Engineers awards five $5,000 grants each cycle to women who are U.S. citizens, active SWE members, and full-time students at partner universities or at an HBCU or HSI. Eligible class levels include sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students in ABET-accredited aerospace, computer, cybersecurity, electrical, mechanical, systems, software, and related engineering majors. SWE gives preference to candidates from underrepresented groups. MDI Bio Lab Summer Fellowship 2027 - $7K + Housing
MDI Biological Laboratory Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowships place college students in 10-week, mentored lab projects on regeneration and aging in Bar Harbor, Maine. NSF REU fellows receive about $7,000, on-campus housing, a full meal plan, and some travel help. INBRE fellows follow the same summer structure for students enrolled at Maine colleges. You need one semester of college biology with lab, one semester of math, and U.S. citizenship or permanent residency for REU. Applications for summer 2027 are expected to open in mid-November 2026 and close around 25 January 2027 on the NSF ETAP portal.
Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship 2027 - $35K
The Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship Program gives graduating US high school seniors up to $35,000 over four years of college plus mentoring, internship placement, and the annual Mentoring and Leadership Conference in New York City. The 2026-2027 application opens September 1, 2026 and closes January 14, 2027 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern. Applicants need US citizenship, demonstrated financial need, strong academics, leadership, community service, SAT or ACT scores, a CSS Profile, and plans to attend an approved four-year college.
Killam Fellowship 2027 - $6,000 US-Canada
The Killam Fellowships Program, administered by Fulbright Canada, sends exceptional U.S. undergraduates to study for one semester or a full year at partner universities in Canada. U.S. citizens enrolled full time at a degree-granting American college may apply through a direct exchange at a partner school or through the open competition for any listed Canadian host. Awards include $6,000 US per semester or $12,000 for a full year, a health benefit plan, orientation in Ottawa and a spring seminar in Washington, D.C., plus mobility grants up to $800 US. The open competition typically opens August 15 and closes January 31 for placement the following academic year.
Documentary Photography Award 2027 - $1,000
The International Documentary Photography Award from Steve Anchell and Anchell Photography pays $1,000 to one undergraduate or graduate student who submits a blind-judged portfolio of 12 to 20 socially conscious documentary photographs plus a 350-word project essay. Matriculated students anywhere may apply regardless of major. The annual cycle historically closes January 1 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific. Winners are notified by March and paid by April. Apply through the official online form or partner portals such as Fastweb.
Katharine M Grosscup Horticulture 2027 - $3,500
The Katharine M. Grosscup Scholarships in Horticulture, administered by the Garden Club of America with a Cleveland-area committee, encourage sophomores through master's students at colleges in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, or West Virginia to study horticulture or related fields. U.S. citizens and permanent residents with about a 3.5 GPA may receive up to $3,500 paid directly for education and research, with a possible second-year award up to $1,000. Justice in Rural Communities Scholarship 2027

Isabel M Herson Education Scholarship 2027 - ZNEF
The Isabel M. Herson Scholarship in Education from the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority National Educational Foundation (ZNEF) awards about $500 to $1,000 to one full-time undergraduate or graduate student majoring in elementary or secondary education for a single academic year.
