Oleg Fastovsky Outstanding Citizen Scholarship 2026
The Oleg Fastovsky Outstanding Citizen Scholarship from Maryland Criminal Defense Group awards $1,000 to one US student who demonstrates community leadership through service. NorthCoast Medical Scholarship 2027 - $5,000 OTA
The NorthCoast Medical Scholarship, funded through the American Occupational Therapy Foundation, awards $5,000 to one occupational therapy assistant student each year. You apply through AOTF''s single online scholarship portal, which opens in mid-January 2027 for the 2026-2027 funding cycle. Eligible OTA applicants must be full-time students in an AOTA-accredited or developing OTA program, have finished at least one year of OT-specific coursework, and be in their final year. You also need three references, a resume, essay responses, and a program director statement submitted by the published closing date. AOTF notifies recipients in May.
NLF Scholarships 2026 - Up to $7,500 for Law
The NAPABA Law Foundation fall 2026 combined application covers the NLF Scholarship ($5,000), two NLF Presidential Scholarships ($7,500 each), the Low Family Scholarship ($2,500), and the LimNexus Scholarship ($2,500). US law students at accredited schools, including incoming 1Ls with proof of enrollment, may apply once online by 23 September 2026 at 5 p.m. Eastern. Selection weighs academics, financial need, leadership, and commitment to serving Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. You need two recommendation letters from non-relatives, transcripts, and essays described in the FAQ. Awardees are notified in November 2026.
Pay It Forward Scholarship 2026 - $1,000 JumpStart
The College JumpStart Pay It Forward Scholarship awards $1,000 to one merit-based winner who shares how kindness inspired them to help someone else, or who writes on a topic of their choice in 250 words or fewer. Open to US citizens and legal residents in grades 10 through 12, in college, or entering college within 12 months. Financial need, GPA, and test scores are not considered. Apply online at jumpstart-scholarship.net by midnight 30 September 2026 for use at any accredited US college or university.
NING Scholarship 2027 - $500 Essay Award
The NING Scholarship from Ning Interactive Inc. rewards creative US college students with cash prizes for original essays emailed to the company. First place earns $500, second place $300, and third place $200. You must be at least 18, a US citizen or permanent resident, and enrolled in a bachelor''s or master''s program at an accredited US college or university. Entries are judged on originality, grammar, and language. The historical deadline falls on September 30 each year. Nila Banton Smith Dissemination Grant 2027
The Nila Banton Smith Research Dissemination Support Grant from the International Literacy Association (ILA) awards up to $5,000 to members who turn literacy research into resources for educators, such as literature reviews, meta-analyses, monographs, or similar dissemination projects. Funds can support project expenses including limited salary support, and the work must finish within one year of the award. Applicants submit through ILA''s ScholarOne awards system. ILA''s 2027 awards cycle uses a 1 February 2027 submission deadline for grants listed on literacyworldwide.org.

McGuire Law Firm Scholarship 2026 - $1,000 Pre-Law

Lycoming County Medical Society Scholarship 2027 - $7,500
The Lycoming County Medical Society Scholarship is administered by The Foundation of the Pennsylvania Medical Society for medical students who lived in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, before enrolling in an accredited allopathic or osteopathic program. For the 2026-2027 academic year, two recipients each receive $7,500. You must be a US citizen enrolled full time at a US medical school, have at least 12 months of Lycoming County residency before registering as a medical student (excluding time in Pennsylvania only for prior college), and not have won this award in the immediately preceding year.
