Donald & Shirley Hastings Scholarship 2027 - $2,500
The Donald and Shirley Hastings Scholarship from the AWS Foundation awards $2,500 to one U.S. citizen at least 18 years old who pursues a four-year bachelor's degree in welding engineering or welding engineering technology at an accredited U.S. college or university. You need a minimum 2.5 GPA, documented financial need including a filed FAFSA, two recommendations, a personal statement, and enrollment verification. Priority goes to welding engineering majors and to residents or students in Iowa, Ohio, or California. Winners may reapply for up to four years. Dr. Nancy Foster Scholarship 2027 - NOAA
The NOAA Dr. Nancy Foster Scholarship Program supports U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and U.S. territory citizens pursuing master''s or doctoral degrees in oceanography, marine biology, maritime archaeology, and related ocean and coastal fields at accredited U.S. institutions. Typical support is about $47,000 per year ($35,000 stipend plus roughly $12,000 for education costs), plus collaboration and travel benefits. You need a 3.30 cumulative GPA. The FY27 cycle expects a Notice of Funding Opportunity in mid-September 2026, pre-applications about one month later, and invited full applications around mid-February 2027 via Grants.gov.
David Kauweloa & Kaupu Scholarship 2027

Critical Language Scholarship 2027 - CLS Summer
The Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) Program is a U.S. Department of State summer institute that sends undergraduate and graduate students to intensive eight-week language programs overseas or online. CLS covers language instruction, travel, housing, meals, materials, visa fees where applicable, and academic credit through Bryn Mawr College. You must be a U.S. citizen or national, at least 18 by May of the program year, and enrolled in an accredited U.S. degree program. Apply once per cycle for one language through clscholarship.org; expect the 2027 summer application to close in mid-November 2026 on the same annual schedule as recent cycles.
Gerber Scholarship 2027 - WA Business Ed
The Doris Y. and John J. Gerber Scholarship from the Washington State Business Education Association (WSBEA) supports junior and senior pre-service students majoring in business education at a Washington college or university. Your campus advisor must be a current dues-paying WSBEA member and nominate you. Award amounts vary with fund income each year. JumpStart Love of Learning Scholarship 2027
The College JumpStart Love of Learning Scholarship awards $1,000 to one US citizen or legal resident who shares a 250-word personal statement about an idea or subject they are passionate about. High school sophomores through seniors, current college students, and anyone entering college within twelve months may apply. Grades, test scores, and financial need are not considered. The December cycle deadline is 31 December 2026 on jumpstart-scholarship.net.
Col. Curtis Kekoa Scholarship 2027 - Pauahi
The Col. Curtis Kekoa (KS '40) and Nenita Maldonado Kekoa Scholarship from the Pauahi Foundation supports one full-time undergraduate or graduate student with at least a 3.0 GPA who wants to work in military studies, music, or related fields. Financial need may factor into selection, and the fund requires essays plus financial documents. Applicants in Hawaiʻi and the continental US may apply, with preference for students of Hawaiian ancestry where law allows. You submit the Pauahi application, transcript, an essay on the biggest problem in Hawaiʻi and how you would solve it, and two letters of recommendation from a teacher or counselor and a community organization leader. The Class of 2020 Aloha 'Aina Scholarship from the Pauahi Foundation supports one full-time undergraduate or graduate student who advances aloha 'aina, the sustainable balance between people and the environment, through their field of practice. Applicants need at least a 2.0 GPA and may live in Hawaiʻi or the continental United States. The fund asks for a creative essay linking your major to environmental stewardship.
