Dan French Real Estate Scholarship 2027 - $40,000
Transforming Communities: The Dan French Real Estate Scholarship from Atlantic Housing Foundation honors founder Dan French by funding students in real estate or related fields. One recipient can receive $5,000 per semester for up to eight semesters ($40,000 total) toward tuition, books, and education costs. You apply through the general AHF online portal by February 1; real estate majors are considered automatically when they meet HUD income limits, a 2.5 GPA, and 20 hours of community service each funded semester.
ACET Student Scholarship 2027 - Up to $1,500
ACET Student Scholarships from the Association for Compensatory Educators of Texas give $1,000 awards to Texas high school seniors who participated in compensatory education programs such as Title I tutoring, mentoring, homeless student services, or after-school academic help. You must attend a Texas public district or charter school and graduate on schedule. The statewide top scorer also receives the Wade & Sandy Burroughs Scholarship worth an additional $500. Apply online through acetx.org with your ESC region, essay rubric responses, and supporting materials before the posted Central Time deadline. The 2025-26 cycle closed February 27, 2026 at 5 p.m. CST with no mailed applications accepted; ACET plans to reopen in fall 2026 for 2026-27 seniors.
ACET Paraprofessional Scholarship 2027 - $1,000
The Association for Compensatory Educators of Texas (ACET) awards four $1,000 paraprofessional scholarships each year to Texas school staff who work in compensatory education programs and are working toward a bachelor''s degree and teacher certification without holding a bachelor''s yet. You need at least two years as a paraprofessional in a Texas district, enrollment in an accredited Texas teacher preparation program, two recommendation letters, a personal essay scored by regional directors, and an online application through acetx.org. Funds cover tuition, fees, and required books and are paid to the recipient. ACET typically opens the window in fall and sets a late-February Central Time deadline; the 2025-26 cycle closed February 27, 2026 at 5 p.m. CST, so expect a similar 2026-27 timeline when the 2027 page posts.
ASSP Foundation Academic Scholarship 2027
The ASSP Foundation Academic Scholarship Program awards dozens of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) scholarships each year to students enrolled in related degree programs at U.S. colleges. One online application puts you in the pool for named funds ranging from about $1,000 to $6,000 or more, depending on donor criteria. You need at least three credit hours in progress during the academic year in an EHS-related program (or a degree you can tie clearly to safety work). ASSP membership is optional but often prioritized. Applications run October 15, 2026 through February 15, 2027 on the Foundation portal. Citizenship is not required if you study and live in the United States.
Atlantic Housing Academic Scholarship 2027 - $12,000
The Atlantic Housing Foundation Academic Scholarship awards up to $1,500 per semester ($12,000 over eight semesters) toward tuition, books, and education expenses for students at accredited US colleges, universities, technical schools, and certification programs. Applicants need a 2.5 semester GPA, family adjusted gross income below 100% of HUD median income for their county, and 20 hours of community service each semester while funded. Priority goes to Atlantic Housing residents, but the award is open nationwide. Apply online through the AHF scholarship portal by February 1 with a 1040 tax return, transcript, essay, and two recommendation letters.
Bernice Murray Scholarship 2027 - Vermont
The Bernice Murray Scholarship helps Vermont single parents pay for child care while they earn an undergraduate degree. Former U.S. Senator James Jeffords and the Federal Executives'' Association sponsor the fund to honor Bernice Murray, longtime aide to Senator Jeffords. VSAC administers awards through the Unified Scholarship Application with FAFSA, essay #1, one non-relative recommendation, and detailed child care information. You must have primary custody of at least one child age twelve or younger, enroll at least half time at a Title IV-eligible college, and show financial need. VSAC may grant one or more scholarships up to $4,000 each for child care costs. For 2027-2028 aid, submit the USA and all documents by February 11, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern, with applications opening October 1, 2026.
Amy Lowenstein Scholarship 2027 - Vermont
The Amy Lowenstein Scholarship helps academically strong Addison County, Vermont high school seniors attend competitive four-year colleges full time. VSAC administers the fund through the Unified Scholarship Application with FAFSA, essay #1, two recommendation letters, and an official transcript. You must demonstrate outstanding achievement, financial need, and school or community involvement, and enroll at a Title IV-eligible bachelor''s program. The award is one $3,000 scholarship that may renew for up to three additional years. AIA Vermont Scholar Promise Award 2027
The American Institute of Architects Vermont Scholar Promise Award encourages Vermont students to pursue undergraduate architecture degrees. AIA Vermont sponsors the fund; VSAC administers it through the Unified Scholarship Application with FAFSA, essay #1, two recommendation letters, and an official transcript. You need at least a 2.85 cumulative GPA, half-time enrollment at a Title IV-eligible college, and demonstrated financial need plus community and entrepreneurial involvement. Allen & Loureena Weber Scholarship 2027 - $1,000
The Allen and Loureena Weber Scholarship is a named undergraduate fund inside the SME Education Foundation portfolio at scholarships.smeef.org. It supports high school seniors and college students pursuing associate or bachelor degrees in manufacturing, mechanical or industrial engineering, engineering technology, or related industrial fields, with preference for graduates of Dayton High School in Dayton, Kentucky, then other Dayton-area high schools such as Newport. Awards are typically $1,000 applied to tuition, fees, or books. You apply once through the Foundation''s unified application when the cycle opens November 1, 2026 and closes February 1, 2027.
Ann Liguori Sports Media Scholarship 2027
The Ann Liguori Foundation Sports Media Scholarship, administered by New York Women in Communications, typically pays $2,500 to a student pursuing sports broadcasting, reporting, programming, or production. You apply through the NYWICI scholarship portal alongside other named communications awards. Eligible applicants are rising college juniors or above, including graduate students, with at least a 3.2 GPA, U.S. citizenship or permanent residency, and a home or college address in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, or Pennsylvania. Majors may include journalism, marketing, public relations, digital media, or related communications fields, with interest in athletics and sports media weighed heavily. Alicia Shanks Memorial Scholarship 2027 - $1,000
The Alicia Shanks Memorial Scholarship, administered by VSAC for Vermont residents, honors a dedicated educator by helping college sophomores, juniors, and seniors earn bachelor''s degrees in elementary or secondary education. Applicants need a 3.0 cumulative GPA, full-time enrollment at a Title IV eligible U.S. or Canadian college, and a track record of leadership, paid work, or volunteer service outside the classroom. VSAC expects one or more awards up to $1,000 each, selected on essay #1, a professor recommendation, and academic achievement; the award is not renewable. Alice C. Coapland Scholarship 2027 - $3,000
The Alice C. Coapland Scholarship, administered by VSAC, supports female undergraduate students from northeastern Vermont towns served by Craftsbury Academy, Lake Region Union High School, or North Country Union High School. Alice Coapland funded the award in 2002 and bequeathed her estate so women with high financial need could continue education after high school. Expect two awards up to $3,000 each, renewable up to three additional years, selected on financial need, academic achievement, essay #1, and a non-relative recommendation. File the Unified Scholarship Application, FAFSA, transcript, and required documents by February 11, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern for 2027-2028 aid.
