100th Infantry Battalion Memorial Scholarship 2027
The 100th Infantry Battalion Veterans Memorial Scholarship Fund, administered by the Hawaiʻi Community Foundation, supports direct descendants of 100th Infantry Battalion World War II veterans who maintain at least a 2.7 GPA, enroll full time at an accredited college, and stay active in community service. You do not need Hawaii residency or demonstrated financial need, though FAFSA completion is part of the HCF Common Scholarship Application. Applicants name the veteran and relationship for verification through the 100th Infantry Battalion Veterans office, write a legacy essay, and apply online through HCF. For the 2027-2028 academic year, expect the common application to open in early December 2026 and close in late February 2027, with recommendation letters due shortly after and awards announced in May and June.
Wayne Nelson KB4UT Memorial Scholarship 2027 - $1K
The Wayne Nelson, KB4UT, Memorial Scholarship is a one-time $1,000 ARRL Foundation award for US citizens with any active FCC amateur radio license, a 3.0 GPA, and enrollment in a technical field at an accredited four-year college or university. ARRL gives first preference to licensed hams in Central Florida counties (Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Lake, Volusia, Brevard, and Polk), then to applicants elsewhere in Florida if no suitable Central Florida candidate is found. For the 2027 academic year, expect the portal to open in late October 2026 and close around February 1, 2027, with recipients notified in late spring and checks mailed to schools in July.
Tom and Judith Comstock Scholarship 2027 - $2,000
The Tom and Judith Comstock Scholarship from the ARRL Foundation pays $2,000 to one licensed amateur each year who resides in Texas or Oklahoma and is either a high school senior accepted at a two- or four-year college or a student already enrolled at such a school. Any FCC amateur license class qualifies, and any major is eligible. You apply through the unified Kaleidoscope portal with transcripts uploaded in the same session. For the 2027 academic year, expect a late-October 2026 opening, a February 1, 2027 deadline, June notification, and July checks mailed to your school.
Michael R Ware NN3I Scholarship 2027 - $2,000
The Michael R. Ware, NN3I, Scholarship awards $2,000 from the ARRL Foundation to one licensed amateur each year who lives in Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, or New England and studies science, technology, engineering, or math at an accredited four-year U.S. college or graduate program. You need U.S. citizenship, a 3.0 GPA, proof of financial need, and either a General-class license held at least two years before you apply or a current Amateur Extra ticket. Harry A Hodges W6YOO Scholarship 2027 - $1,000
The Harry A. Hodges, W6YOO, Scholarship is a one-time $1,000 award from the ARRL Foundation for U.S. citizen high school seniors who hold at least a Technician-class FCC amateur license and show real involvement in radio service. ARRL gives geographic preference to applicants from San Diego County, California, then to other California residents if no qualified San Diego County applicant is selected. You can study any major at any accredited U.S. college, junior college, or trade school. Strong academics or an at-risk youth turnaround story with two counselor or teacher recommendations can both fit the fund. James Davidson Innovative Student Scholarship 2027
SprayWorks Equipment Group offers the James Davidson Innovative Student Scholarship, a $600 award for one four-year university student pursuing chemical science with a 2.5 GPA or higher. Named for owner James Davidson, the Canton, Ohio company supports innovation tied to polyurethanes and spray foam careers. You submit an 800-word essay on how you create or plan to create innovation through chemical science plus one academic recommendation from a non-family member. The historical window runs August 1 through December 21, with spring notification. Advocates Law Scholarship 2027 - $2,000
The Advocates Law Scholarship from Driggs, Bills & Day PLLC awards $2,000 each year to two U.S. students: $1,000 for a high school junior or senior and $1,000 for a current college student at an accredited U.S. institution. Despite the Idaho Advocates keyword, eligibility is nationwide. You follow The Advocates on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or LinkedIn, then submit a 300- to 500-word essay on road safety with citations and a works cited page. AI-generated essays are disqualified. The annual deadline is January 31, winners are paid through their schools, and questions go to [email protected].
Constitution Scholarship 2027 - Up to $10,000
The Restoration of America Foundation Constitution Scholarship pairs free Hillsdale College online courses with cash awards from $2,000 up to $10,000 for U.S. citizens age 16 and older in high school, homeschool, college, university, or trade school. You must finish Introduction to the Constitution and Constitution 101, upload your certificates, and complete the ROAF application on ffroa.com. A third approved Hillsdale course unlocks the $5,000 and $10,000 tiers. Funds pay tuition at private high schools, colleges, universities, and trade schools. The January 31, 2027 deadline runs at 11:59 p.m. Eastern, winners are announced about 60 days later, and you may apply once per semester until you win.
Magnolia DX Association Scholarship 2027 - $500 MS
The Magnolia DX Association Scholarship is a one-time $500 ARRL Foundation award for active amateur radio operators who hold at least a Technician-class FCC license and study electronics, communications, computer science, engineering, or a related field. ARRL gives preference to Mississippi residents, then to applicants elsewhere in the Delta Division, and to students who will attend an accredited college, university, or technical school in Mississippi or the Delta Division. Graduating high school seniors usually rank ahead of continuing undergraduates. You apply through the unified Kaleidoscope portal when the winter cycle opens. For 2027-2028 study, expect a late-October 2026 opening and a deadline around February 1, 2027, with late-spring notification and July payment to your school.
Sally Beauty HS Scholarship 2027 - $1,000
The Sally Beauty Scholarships for High School Graduates help new cosmetology students through the Professional Beauty Association. Sally Beauty Supply funds the awards and PBA administers them alongside other beauty-industry scholarships at probeauty.org. High school graduates under age 26 who plan to enter an accredited cosmetology program may apply with a completed form, two recommendation letters, a personal essay, and a transcript. CareerOneStop lists ten $1,000 awards with a January 15 deadline. Check probeauty.org/scholarships each fall for the live application because PBA rotates sponsored programs on that page.
Technology Addiction Awareness Scholarship 2027
Digital Responsibility awards $1,000 through the Technology Addiction Awareness Scholarship to U.S. citizens or legal residents in high school, college, graduate school, or homeschool programs. There is no age limit. You submit a 140-character statement completing the prompt "Instead of spending time with technology, I'd rather…" through the sponsor's online form. Finalists may be asked for a 500- to 1,000-word essay on technology addiction. The scholarship highlights screen-time risks and is one of four Digital Responsibility awards on the same site. The listed deadline for the current cycle is January 30, 2027.
Regina B. Shearn Scholarship 2027 - $2,000 APS
The Regina B. Shearn Scholarship from Alpha Phi Sigma honors the Criminal Justice Honor Society''s first executive director. Official members apply through SmarterSelect for separate undergraduate and graduate awards worth $2,000 each. You need chapter-advisor-signed transcripts, a resume showing campus and community leadership, a 5- to 7-page corrections career paper, and three recommendation letters. Judges weigh academics, service, and your plan for roles such as probation, parole, or correctional programming. You cannot win the same Shearn award two years in a row. Applications close February 14, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern.
