EPP/MSI Undergraduate Scholarship 2027 - NOAA
NOAA''s José E. Serrano Educational Partnership Program with Minority Serving Institutions (EPP/MSI) Undergraduate Scholarship Program (USP) supports rising juniors at accredited MSIs nationwide with up to $9,500 per academic year for two years, two paid 10-week NOAA summer internships, travel, housing subsidies, and professional development. You must be a U.S. citizen or national, hold at least a 3.2 GPA, and major in a NOAA mission field. Applications share the Hollings portal and typically close January 31. NOAA paused the 2026 EPP class for budget reasons; watch noaa.gov for the next cycle.
I Have a Dream Scholarship 2027 - $1,500 Unigo
Unigo's I Have a Dream Scholarship awards $1,500 to one legal U.S. resident age 14 or older who writes a 250-word essay about what they dream about, from a bizarre sleep dream to future hopes. You must be enrolled or will enroll in an accredited college, university, or trade school no later than fall 2027. Residents of all 50 states and the District of Columbia may apply. Submit one application at unigo.com by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on January 31, 2027.
Pittenger American History Scholarship 2027 - $2K/yr
The Dr. Aura-Lee A. and James Hobbs Pittenger American History Scholarship from DAR gives $2,000 per year for up to four years to graduating high school seniors who will earn an undergraduate degree with at least 24 credit hours in American history and American government. Renewal requires a 3.25 GPA and annual transcript review. US citizens apply on DAR AcademicWorks from November 1, 2026 through January 31, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Hawaii Time. Citizens abroad may apply through a Units Overseas Chapter.
DAR Centennial Scholarship 2027 - $2,500 Preservation
The DAR Centennial Scholarship from the Daughters of the American Revolution awards $2,500 each to two graduate students pursuing historic preservation at an accredited US college or university. Funding came from proceeds of the DAR Centennial Pin. US citizens apply online through DAR AcademicWorks from November 1, 2026 through January 31, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Hawaii Time. The award is one-time and pays through your institution. DAR chapter sponsorship is optional.
Beneventi Law Scholarship 2027 - $2,000 DAR Award
The Arthur Lockwood Beneventi Law Scholarship from the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) is a one-time national award of about $2,000 for a US citizen enrolled in or attending an accredited US law school with at least a 3.25 GPA. The DAR Scholarship Committee accepts online applications through AcademicWorks from November 1, 2026 through January 31, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Hawaii Time. The award is not automatically renewable, though past recipients may reapply in later cycles. DAR chapter sponsorship is not required.
Education Accessibility Scholarship 2027 - $1,000
Claggett, Sykes & Garza awards the Education Accessibility Scholarship to one U.S. first-generation college student who writes the strongest 750-word essay on improving public education so more people can reach college. Enrolled or soon-to-enroll students in accredited two- or four-year programs, community colleges, paralegal tracks, or graduate school need at least a 3.0 GPA. Submit a resume, transcript, and essay through CSG when the cycle opens; the firm highlights the award on csgtrials.com/our-community. Past winners attended schools such as Elms College and Manchester Community College.
Aspiring Legacy Scholarship 2027 - $2,500
The Skabelund Aspiring Legacy Scholarship from Ultimate Asset Protection awards $2,500 twice per year to U.S. students who tie higher education to generational wealth and community impact. Undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at accredited U.S. colleges, plus high school seniors with admission letters, may apply with at least a 3.0 GPA. U.S. citizens and legal residents submit a 500-to-750-word essay, transcript, and proof of enrollment by email to [email protected]. The Spring 2027 cycle closes January 15, 2027; a Fall award typically closes in mid-August.
APIA Scholarship 2027 - Up to $20,000
The APIA Scholarship from APIA Scholars supports undergraduate students at accredited US colleges and universities, with awards from $2,500 one-year grants to $20,000 multi-year packages. Selection prioritizes students with significant financial need, including many who are the first in their family to attend college, though applicants from all backgrounds may apply if they meet citizenship rules. The 2027-2028 cycle opens November 15, 2026, closes January 15, 2027 at 5 p.m. Eastern Time, and notifies recipients around April 15, 2027.
Drug Rehab USA Mental Health Scholarship 2027
The Drug Rehab USA Mental Health Scholarship awards $2,000 each year to one current US university student enrolled in a mental health degree program such as psychology, counseling, social work, or psychiatric nursing. Applicants email [email protected] from an active .edu address with creative content (500-800 word essay, video up to five minutes, or other media) explaining why they chose the field and the impact they hope to make. Anne Shen Smith Scholarship 2027 - $1,250 SWE
The Anne Shen Smith Endowed Scholarship from the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) awards about $1,250 to one undergraduate woman pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or computer science at an ABET-accredited program. Southern California Gas Company funded the endowment in 2014 to honor Anne Shen Smith, a retiring CEO. You must be a U.S. citizen, enrolled full time as a sophomore, junior, or senior, and hold at least a 3.0 GPA. Reviewers give preference to students from underrepresented backgrounds and to students attending colleges or universities in California. SWE membership is not required, though members may qualify for extra scholarships and application points. Apply through the SWE scholarship portal at scholarships.swe.org with one reference, a resume, transcript, and essay when the cycle opens.
AIAA Foundation Scholarship 2027 - Aerospace
The AIAA Foundation Scholarship Program distributes dozens of undergraduate and graduate awards each year to AIAA Student Members pursuing aerospace-related science or engineering degrees at accredited US colleges. General undergraduate scholarships pay $2,000 to $2,500 and can renew until graduation, while named funds such as the Mary W. Jackson and Muellner awards reach $5,000 to $10,000.
