Not every scholarship covers 100% of your costs, but partial funding can still make a huge difference. The scholarships listed here cover a significant share of tuition or living expenses, reducing what you need to pay out of pocket.
California Consumer Advocacy Scholarship 2026 - $1,000
California Consumer Attorneys, P.C. (The Lemon Firm) awards $1,000 each year through its Annual Consumer Advocacy Scholarship to students enrolled at an accredited California college, university, or law school who care about consumer rights. You must be 18 by the start of fall semester and either a California resident or attending school in California. Submit a 400–600-word essay on a California consumer-protection law by email to [email protected] with subject line CCA 2026 Scholarship Submission. The firm judges on essay quality and academic credentials; one winner is notified within 30 days after the 1 October 2026 deadline.
Buckfire Medical Diversity Scholarship 2026
The 2026 Buckfire & Buckfire, P.C. Medical School Diversity Scholarship awards $2,000 to one U.S. medical student who promotes diversity in their community. You must be a U.S. citizen enrolled at an accredited U.S. medical school, have finished at least one semester, and hold a minimum 3.0 GPA. Buckfire does not limit diversity to any single background and states that winners are not chosen based on race, sex, ethnicity, or other immutable traits. Submit the application form, a one-page essay on past or future diversity work with your medical degree, and a certified official medical school transcript by 1 October 2026. Payment goes to your institution for tuition and related expenses, with receipt reporting under IRS rules on the firm scholarships hub.
APHA KP Community Health Scholarship 2027
The APHA KP Community Health Scholarship, funded by Kaiser Permanente through the East Bay Community Foundation, awards up to $15,000 for MPH students and up to $20,000 for DrPH or PhD students entering full-time public health programs at eight partner universities. Up to twenty US citizens or permanent residents who commit to health equity leadership may apply each cycle. Preference goes to first-generation, lower-income, and underrepresented students. Anidjar & Levine Community Service Scholarship 2027
The Law Firm of Anidjar & Levine awards $2,500 to the college or graduate student whose 500-word essay best connects volunteer history with future career goals. Applicants need a 3.0 GPA, an accredited US community college, college, or university enrollment, and a resume documenting community service with dates and contacts. Submit a PDF essay with title and bibliography through the firm online form only. The posted 2026 cycle closes 1 October 2026, with winners contacted in January 2027.
Alfa Chemistry Scholarship 2027 - $1,000 Science
Alfa Chemistry awards $1,000 to one full-time undergraduate, graduate, or Ph.D. student in biochemistry, chemistry, chemical engineering, or materials science with at least a 3.0 GPA. Email the application form, recommendation letter, official transcript, and an original 600-800-word essay or 8-10-slide presentation on deformulation, building-block chemistry, or nanomaterials to [email protected] by 30 November 2027. Selection weighs academics, leadership, and community service. Winners are announced around 15 December.
Buckfire Law School Diversity Scholarship 2026
The 2026 Buckfire & Buckfire, P.C. Law School Diversity Scholarship awards $2,000 to one U.S. law student who demonstrates a commitment to diversity. You must be a U.S. citizen enrolled at an accredited U.S. law school, have finished at least one semester, and hold a minimum 3.0 GPA. Eligible applicants include members of ethnic or racial minorities or any student who can show defined diversity leadership in their academic career. Submit the application form, a one-page essay on how you have promoted diversity or will use your law degree to do so, and a certified official law school transcript by 1 October 2026. Buckfire Paralegal Scholarship 2026 - $1,000
The 2026 Buckfire & Buckfire, P.C. Paralegal Scholarship awards $1,000 to one U.S. citizen enrolled in a paralegal education program within the United States who has finished at least one semester. You must be taking classes during the 2025 winter term or the 2026 spring, summer, or fall semester to qualify. Buckfire Law, a Michigan personal injury firm, asks for a completed application form, a 500-to-750-word essay on your educational goals and obstacles, and a certified official paralegal school transcript by 1 October 2026. The check goes directly to your institution for tuition and related expenses, and winners submit receipts under IRS rules. The annual program began in 2018 to support aspiring paralegals who need help covering school costs.
BOC Sciences Chemistry Scholarship 2026 - $1,000
BOC Sciences awards $1,000 once per year to a full-time undergraduate, graduate, or Ph.D. student majoring in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, or a related science with at least a 3.0 GPA. Big League Shirts Scholarship 2026 - $1,000
Big League Shirts, a custom team uniform company based in Lenexa, Kansas, offers a $1,000 scholarship for undergraduate or graduate students enrolled at accredited U.S. colleges. University financial aid offices and scholarship directories list the award with an early-October deadline pattern. Gilman Scholarship 2026 - Study Abroad up to $9,000
The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship from the U.S. Department of State sends Pell Grant recipients abroad for credit-bearing study or internships. Awards reach up to $5,000, with optional Critical Need Language ($3,000) and STEM ($1,000) supplements. You must be a U.S. citizen undergraduate in good standing, receive a Federal Pell Grant during application or your abroad term, and choose a program in a country at Travel Advisory Level 1 or 2. Fall 2026 applications close 1 October 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on gilmanscholarship.org.
Brave of Heart Scholarship 2026 - Up to $50,000/yr
The Brave of Heart Scholarship, administered by Scholarship America for the Brave of Heart Fund, supports children age 26 and under, spouses, and domestic partners of frontline healthcare workers who died from COVID-19-related causes. Eligible U.S. citizens and legal residents need at least a 2.0 GPA and may enroll full-time or part-time at accredited vocational, two-year, four-year, or graduate schools. Undergraduates in any field qualify; graduate study must be patient-facing healthcare such as medicine, nursing, or physician assistant programs. Awards are need-based and non-competitive: qualifying applicants receive funding up to $15,000 per year for non-healthcare undergraduates, $25,000 for healthcare or pre-med undergraduates, or $50,000 for eligible graduate healthcare majors, with lifetime caps. The 2026 cycle was the program''s final year; applications ran from 19 February through 22 April 2026 with notification in late June and August payment.
UPS/NLF Gold Mountain Scholarship 2026 - $5,000
The UPS/NLF Gold Mountain Scholarships from the NAPABA Law Foundation award $5,000 to two law students each year who are the first in their immediate family to attend law school. You must be enrolled in good standing at an ABA- or AALS-accredited US law school, hold US citizenship or permanent residency, show financial need, and demonstrate commitment to pro bono or public-interest work serving Asian Pacific American communities. Apply through the combined 2026 NLF online application by 23 September 2026 at 5 p.m. Eastern. Do not confuse this law-school award with the separate OCA-UPS Gold Mountain program for high school seniors.
