James Beard Foundation Scholarships 2027
The James Beard Foundation Scholarship Program funds culinary and hospitality students through cash grants, tuition waivers, and Jean-Louis Palladin work-study grants for working chefs. Since 1991 JBF has awarded nearly $10 million to more than 2,000 recipients studying at accredited culinary schools, colleges, and universities nationwide. Past Presidents SWE Scholarship 2027 - $6,500

The Killam Fellowships Program, administered by Fulbright Canada, sends exceptional U.S. undergraduates to study for one semester or a full year at partner universities in Canada. U.S. citizens enrolled full time at a degree-granting American college may apply through a direct exchange at a partner school or through the open competition for any listed Canadian host. Awards include $6,000 US per semester or $12,000 for a full year, a health benefit plan, orientation in Ottawa and a spring seminar in Washington, D.C., plus mobility grants up to $800 US. The open competition typically opens August 15 and closes January 31 for placement the following academic year.
Documentary Photography Award 2027 - $1,000
The International Documentary Photography Award from Steve Anchell and Anchell Photography pays $1,000 to one undergraduate or graduate student who submits a blind-judged portfolio of 12 to 20 socially conscious documentary photographs plus a 350-word project essay.
