Katherine F Lindquist Memorial SWE 2027 - $1,250
The Katherine F. Lindquist Memorial Scholarship from the SWE Smoky Mountain Section honors a TVA civil engineer and Girl Scout leader who mentored East Tennessee girls toward STEM careers. SWE endowed the fund in 2014 and typically awards about $1,250 to one female high school senior who lives in East Tennessee, holds at least a 2.5 GPA, and plans to enroll full time at a four-year college in math, science, or engineering. Serrano Educational Partnership Program with Minority Serving Institutions (EPP/MSI) Undergraduate Scholarship Program (USP) supports rising juniors at accredited MSIs nationwide with up to $9,500 per academic year for two years, two paid 10-week NOAA summer internships, travel, housing subsidies, and professional development.
